Special Times with B

Brox, you have been quite possibly the best big brother we could have ever imagined. You are sweet, gentle, patient and affectionate to Miss Lowe who hasn't really been the easiest person to get along with this past week.

I had major anxiety about still getting to spend special time with you and am so grateful that we have been able to have some fun times together like eating breakfast on the front porch, going to the farmers market and swimming.

We love you soo much and are so very blessed that you have been so welcoming to baby Lowe and patient with us and her while we figure out how to get her happy:)

First Week

Our first week at home went pretty smoothly. You are a bit fussy when you eat but other then that you have been easy.

Don't worry we just put you next to B for a quick picture. We didn't let you sleep this close to the edge of the couch. The day you came home Brox wouldn't nap in his bed. I think he thought he was going to miss out on something with you!

My two babies sound asleep.

 Brox loves staring at you!

He also loves pretending he is a baby:)

Meeting your oldest brother Clyde. He is not sure what to think about you and freaks out every time you cry.

First Dr. appointment. You did great and are perfectly healthy!

Striking a pose.

You were not to sure about tummy time but eventually got used to it.

Miss prissy with her mosquito net. The week we brought you home we had 80 degree weather in the middle of summer and took full advantage of it!

Your first bath. You love it!

Celebrating your 1 week birthday at the park!

Love the sign!

Hair bow gone wrong! Pirate baby!

Visitors Galore!

You are certainly loved. You had lots and lots of visitors during your first week. Brox was your very first visitor and brought flowers for you and Mommy. So sweet!

 Getting settled in at home!

Hospital Days

We spent Friday through Sunday in the hospital. I quite enjoy the time there. All the rest and attention is fabulous but your Daddy practically shoved me out the door when it was time to be discharged. Apparently he wasn't as comfy there as we were:)

Your very first visitor was your awesome big brother. I was so nervous about how he would do and was so thrilled that he was happy and excited to meet you and see me. He is definitely stepping into the role of big brother and has been completely smitten with you and super helpful.

Our very first picture as a family of four. Very very blessed!

Exchanging gifts. Brox brought you and little matchbox stuffed mouse and you brought him a Planes memory game.

Brox's first time holding you.

Adore this picture of you and Daddy.

Turns out your brother also loves the hospital. He stayed for several hours dancing, pushing buttons and just being silly.

Adorable wreath your Yaya made.

Brother watching the construction site from our window.

Such a good helper!

Flowers from brother.

Still being silly.

Being silly!

Ready to go home.
