Rolly Polly

There was a rumor floating around school a few weeks ago that you rolled over but no one witnessed it. Today you officially did it! You rolled from back to tummy twice for Dad this morning. When I came home from work for lunch I thought surely you were going to be stubborn and not show me your new trick but you actually cooperated and showed me two more rolls! We yelled, clapped, hugged and kissed you. The look on your face was so priceless. You were so proud!

Big milestone! Rolling over at 5 months 4 days.

Our Little Diva!

Seems as though you are developing quite a personality. You used to be so mellow and laid back but those days might be over! Hopefully daycare can help with your sharing skills.

5 Months

You are 5 months old and have a smile melts every one's heart. Your giggles are infectious and we are starting to hear a lot more of them! Its funny how the highlight of our Saturday night is now laying on the floor in your room getting you to giggle. You still love being sung to and one of your recent favs is "This Little Light of Mine". You also like reading now. We spread out a blanket and lay on our backs to read. One of my hopes for you is that you will love books and reading.

Your new sounds is more of a grunt. It sounds like you are stressed out or trying to potty but really its just the new noise you have discovered.

Happy 5 months giggle box!

Your first 5k

On Saturday we did a 5k benefitting the assist the officer foundation. We had a quite a crew with us including Dad, Yaya, David, Sherry, Tim, Braden, Mckinley, Lindsey and Kelly. Yaya and I pushed you Braden and Mckinley in the strollers and had so much fun! You looked around and slept and never got fussy. Such a trooper!

Ready to ride!

Sitting up (sorta)

Look who is sitting up! We have been working with you on sitting up by yourself. You are still pretty wobbly but you held this one for a good 2 minutes! Its so great seeing your little shoulders go up and down when you start to giggle while sitting up.

First Easter

I will admit that Easter was a little stressful but looking back on it you were such a trooper and we were the dramatic ones. We took you to mass at 7a.m and you slept and played with Braden and Mckinley without making a peep. Then we went back to Nana's, then to great grandmas, then to Memit's, then Tim and Janice's and finally back home. We had a lot of stops to make but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We are so lucky to have all of our family local and have the ability to share all of these special memories with so many loved ones.  Everyone wanted to see you even if it was only for a short period of time.

Easter Eve

One of the best parts about Easter is getting to hang out at Nana's house on Saturday. I love getting to spend time with our family and coloring eggs with Braden and Mckinley. We are so blessed to have these holiday traditions that we now get to share with you. Next year you will be coloring eggs!

You spent the day napping on the patio, playing in your car and lauging with Nana. Such great memories! We took another chance at bluebonnet pictures and you did a little better this time. No smiles but I will take what I can get.

You loved playing patty cake with Nana!

Our Little Easter Bunny!

Of course I had to take silly pictures of you wearing giant Easter Bunny ears. You didn't seem to mind the ears I think you liked that they were soft on your head.
