First Valentine's Day

Your first Valentine's day was so fun. You had a party at school and got to exchange cards with the other babies in your class. It was so adorable! I bought you a special "boyish" v-day outfit on etsy and it was a huge hit with the teachers and other moms at the party. Such a cutie.

3 Months

I can't believe you are growing soo fast! Such a big boy!

These have definitely been the best 3 months of our lives. Everyday you learn something new and are getting into the "fun" stage where you giggle and smile more and are attentive when we sing and talk to you. You can also shake a rattle and will look at the pictures in the book when we read to you. Your favorite songs right now are ABC's and I hate to admit this but you really like when I attempt to sing "Wind Beneath My Wings."

First Week at School

Its' Friday and I have survived my first week back at work. I miss you so much but I am making it work by waking up early to spend time with you in the morning. I was hoping your bedtime would be 9:00p.m so we would have more time to spend with you but when 8:00p.m rolls around you are ready to hit the sack.

You are doing so good in school and your teachers are already in love with you. This week we had to bring your favorite book to school for them to read to the class. You also had a lot of floor time and tummy time which you are getting sooo good at!

First Day of School

The last twelve weeks have flown by! I cannot believe it is already time to go back to work and take you to daycare full-time. I have enjoyed every second of my maternity leave with you and took great advice from so many working moms that told me the anticipation of going back is the worst part. I know we made the best decision for you and our family and you are in great hands at your daycare where you will eventually learn so much from the other kids and your teachers. This morning actually went really well, probably because dad had drop off duty. He did call to tell me it was a lot harder then he thought it would be. The work day isn't over yet but the amazing girls I work with and sweet messages from friends and family have made it so much easier. I am soo excited about coming to pick you up I can hardly stand it!

Daddy sent me this text and picture when he went to check on you today. "Hi mom. I'm doing great. Just woke up and am in my chair. Love you." Seeing this smile was so reassuring.

Super Bowl Sunday

For the big game we stayed in and ordered wings and played with you. You were being so talkative!
I knew I was going back to work the next day so you spent a ton of time in my arms ( I basically held you during all your naps).
