Big girl hair and toes

I am loving all these girl milestones!

First big girl low ponytail and first painted toe nails with sweet cousin Mckinley. Such a big girl!

Our little country life just keeps getting better! We left for the aquarium and saw uncle Kirby and Casey down at the tank. Daddy said " I wish they would build a dock" and low and behold we come home to a finished dock!

We love strolling down to the dock to throw rocks in the water and watch the cows.

We will try our hand at fishing when it cools down.

Lowe Birthday Festivities Part 2

The Dallas Aquarium is our first birthday go to. Brox loved it on his first birthday so we decided to take you there as well for some fun family time the Monday after your party (party pics coming soon).

You guys loved looking at all the fish/animals and we loved that it was air conditioned:)

We spent your birthday proper with a breakfast picnic at the park, fun at the grocery store, gifts and sidewalk chalk!

Yes, B got a big brother gift. We didn't want him to be left out:)

Summer Fun!

There is nothing more fun than a pool date with dear friends! Love that you four buggers are so close in age and will grow up together!

Fun evening doing an ice age dinosaur dig! It was really exciting the first 10 minutes then I was dumping hot water on it trying to speed up the process. Key learning... do a smaller block of ice!

Lowe is 1!

Lowe Emory is 1 and one of the things I am celebrating is the end of the monthly "block" pictures!

Sweet girl I cannot believe a year has already flown by! Those first few months with you were soo hard. In and out of doctor visits, swallow studies, chiropractor, hospital etc. and long days of you screaming and crying during all feedings. My how things have changed! You are such a sweet, happy little baby that brings so much joy to our lives every single day! You are definitely making up for those first few months of terror!

You are starting to walk although you are still really uncertain about it. If anyone looks at you or makes a big deal out of you walking you immediately drop to your knees.

You are very independent. If we hand you food or your sippy cup you won't take it. You want us to set it down so you can pick it up and do it yourself.

Happy birthday sweet sassy pants! We love you!
