My favorite place to shop for your clothes is peek. As we were checking out I noticed they had quotes posted all over the walls and this one brought tears to my eyes.
Knowing that you are looking makes me want to be the best person I can be and ensure that you always feel special and loved.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang up my first painting on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat, and I thought it was good to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I knew that little things are special things.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer, and I believed there is a God I could always talk to.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me goodnight, and I felt loved.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I LOOKED....
and wanted to say thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.

Posting this a bit late but I want you to be able to see this when you get bigger. Don't tell Daddy I told you this but it made him cry when he watched it this Father's Day. Can't wait for the two of you to have moments like this.
Now that you have discovered that you can sit up and play in your crib nap time has been quite interesting. First you decide to sit and clap your hands.

I laid you back down and turned on your light show. It got very quiet so I assumed you finally gave up and went to sleep. This is what I found when I went back to check on you. Oh boy!
Sometimes when we are playing I have to run and grab the camera because I can't get over how down adorable you are and feel the need to capture that very moment. This is one of those moments. Laying in the back room with those big blue eyes staring back at me. True Love.
Daddy went on an overnight guys outing so we decided to head to Nana's and spend the weekend with her. We took you for a stroll outside right before bed and I guess that got you wired because you stayed up until 9:30 then woke up again at 1:00 and got in bed with me. Luckily you didn't continue this behavior when you got home. What happens at Nana's stays at Nana's!

We made the best of our home bound weekend. You were having major tummy issues and it was 107 degrees outside so you helped me with arts and craft time. We are making fabric bunting you use for your first birthday party. Your fascination with scissors makes you a not very good crafting partner!
Pretty sure you got caught in the act touching the outlet.
We made an art display in the back room for all the amazing projects you bring home from school.
Just messin around with your toys. You would never guess that you were sick. Such a trooper!
